A BIT ABOUT US

Who We Are

What do you get when you combine passion, friendship, and a healthy dose of joie de vivre? Our wines are like a dream come true.  It has always been the dream of our founders, Tim and Mark, to produce extraordinary wines that could rival any import.  From Tim and Mark's desire to build and our love of wine, we've created Timark Wines, a boutique vintner showcasing small lots of exceptional wines.  Thanks to the depth and flavor of the fruit we source from superior quality Napa Valley vineyards, we specialize in the limited production of ultra-premium wines that showcase the remarkable quality of the region.

We hope you enjoy our wine as much as we've enjoyed creating it for you.

Cheers!

Awards

2008 FINALIST
AFFAIRS OF THE VINE CABERNET SHOOTOUT

Female: Vanilla and red cherry on the nose with some nice barnyard notes. Cherry and black cherry flavors on entry quickly followed by big tooth coating tannins. Then the fruit is there…needs time for the tannins to tame. 87 points

Male: Medium garnet as the wine pours. Nice wine! It’s got it all. Black fruit, smoke, and earth in the nose with some nice barrel toast elements. The palate is precise. Nice balance of fruit and tannin. The finish is longer than expected. Should continue to age nicely. 88 points

2010 GOLD MEDAL WINNER
AFFAIRS OF THE VINE CABERNET SHOOTOUT

Female: Black cherry, sour cherry and earth notes on the nose. Tight on entry opening to black raspberry flavors with a flood of savory spice. Well made. Needs time (or decant next time) and this baby will come together beautifully. 90 points

Male: Inky garnet red. Quiet nose of leather and cassis. Solid red currant palate with ample linear expansive mouthfeel. Good finish. Textbook structure, nose and palate. 91 points

2011 GOLD MEDAL WINNER
AFFAIRS OF THE VINE CABERNET SHOOTOUT

Female: The nose is distinctly Cabernet Sauvignon...vanilla, cocoa powder, mint, floral, dark rich fruit, sweet black cherry with pepper and herbal complements. Dark Bing cherry flavors complemented by pepper and minerals. Delicious fruit on the palate. Nice smooth mouthfeel. Great mid-palate and finish. Chalky texture. Nicely integrated. Lovely acidity. 91 points

Male: Aromatics of black cherry with barrel notes accented by dried herbs and floral notes offer up a distinct Old World charm. Palate replicates nicely from aromatics with accent on the black cherry core framed by brown spice, leather and toast. Medium tannins accent the generous finish. 88 points
